    Did you get any update? I applied on 20th March. Same situation. No updates on biometrics either although they are now waived.

    You're right. I hadn't checked it lately since they suggest that processing times aren't relevant during the pandemic. So one should ask, what does "18 days" mean then? Why are they updating that especially when apparently they haven't processed some applications from 2019?!

    I applied for extension on Mar 20, haven't heard. About biometrics, I don't think study permit extension generally require biometrics. Guys please keep updating as you hear any updates on your applications.

    You're fine, you can stay here to apply for restoration in a few days and you must not leave Canada while you're restoring your status. I'm in the same situation.
