Hi Guys My colleague got an update on the application .The update states that you have passed the medicals and your application is in progress .Biometrics already done.. Not sure about the next steps .But good news is that embassy has started reviewing the applications..

Just an update Canada VFS centers will remain close for the Aug month as well in India .they are planning to open in the month of September no specific date confirmed yet. This was posted on Twitter handle of Canadian Embassy in India .

This makes sense ..

Its really frustrating ,u just keep on waiting and there is particular time frame when you can expect the decision..

There were some speculations that VFS centers will open in August but no confirmation yet..

I haven't read any such comments or information ,so not able comment on that .I have serious doubt about the application which should be processed within 2 weeks haven't processed till date ..

I have kept the track of the processing time and I can see that every Tuesday it being increased by 2 weeks . So not sure about their claim that they have started processing the files . If that is the case then why the processing time is not decreasing .Now some will say that number of petitions...

You applied online and where were submitted your biometrics

It was GSS and filed in April with all biometrics and medical .

Yes you are very well correct .. But here is the catch if the application is filed under GSS ICT category then it should be processed within the defined time-frame i.e.14 days .But due to covid we can say it will take some more time .
