Useless update today (surprisingly): my background check went back to “in progress” from completed. They probably want my fingerprints again since they have expired from a long time now.

I applied in January and I am still stuck i applied in January 2023, refugee and traveled with RTD (but not to neighbouring home country) and still haven’t gotten anything done. Only test and background check which expired 2 months ago because fingerprints expired…. Absolutely no updates since.

Waiting since Jan 2023. Only things completed are background and test.

Any idea what e-grant clearance pending is? I went from DF to this.

CRA factor clicks in if you haven’t filed your personal taxes for 3 years in your 5-year eligibility window I believe.

Called today to notify processing office that I am past processing time. Was told they cannot because my application is non-routine as they asked the fingerprints…. All these days they said nothing and honestly every agent has their own excuse so that I am stuck here. Unbelievable.
