I did not apply for an open work permit with my PR application so my current status is a visitor. If I had an OWP I would not need to review the visitor visa. We did receive SA/AIP along with a request for more docs back in Jan. Thanks

March 10th application, Meds passed in December we got SA yesterday 1/23 (sponsor email) and I got an update letter saying: A few more documents were also requested...I hope everyone is hanging in there!

I honestly don't know that answer but I saw the option when I logged in to check on the status, which I now do daily, so I figured I would also put it there.

Hi All - Happy New Year. I presume it's dependent on the officer working the file but how long does it typically take for them to acknowledge additional documents provided by request. I uploaded via webform, as that's what the letter said, and through gckey as I also saw the option there.

Update: Received a call from Service Canada today for scheduling biometrics. note they called Sponsor's number, not PA number.

Has anyone that received the Biometrics Instruction Letter gotten a call from Service Canada? I received mine on October 30th and haven't heard a thing.

My Sponsor also got the email saying they received the application back in March...It's not much but it feels like progress. I guess that means that it will be reviewed at some point and AOR will follow...

I am glad to get "something" from them but I am also confused by the fees...I did not choose OWP and paid $1125. It most likely includes Biometrics but now I can't remember. I wish the receipt had a breakdown. Also, does this mean they opened the package and started working towards AOR?
