Nicoya, It is simple. I hope you have your CIC account online. Just apply there. You have to make sure that you apply before your work permit expires.

Sorry for the late response. My first work permit was received within 20 days. But I heard it and I heard it right that they now take almost 3 months to approve RENEWAL of work permits. First timers may get it early. You should apply before the work permit expiry. Thanks.
