Sure will do. The wait has been excruciating. That’s 4 months of living in a foreign country without passport. It’s highly stressful. I hope IRCC can empathize a little with our situation and expedite our applications now. Hope to hear something this week!

Yeah they acknowledged they have my passport back in May. I have sent them another email. No reply yet. I hope they return my passport with or without stamping and I am frustrated about how disorganized the whole process is.

Outland applicant from USA who is convinced that the passport is lost forever now. Waiting since March 16. I only wish I could have kissed my passport goodbye before sending it out. Don’t know why they would hold original passports for more than 3 months. I wanna see what thesis they publish on...

Not me but a lot of people did. What’s your timeline?

It’s the case everywhere around the world. We are always at their mercy. At this point, all I care about is getting my passport back with or without stamping. They have held it for 100 days now.

Let’s hope to get them back soon.

Sailing the same boat since March 16th. There’s no way to call IRCC from USA. They do not appreciate calls from outland applicants. Same generic response to my email.

Okay we will keep each other updated. I see most of the people that sent their original passports to CPC-O have got them back.

Asking to see if this thread still has any relevance to my concerns. Anyone still here waiting on original passports since March 16th? I am an FSW-O applicant from USA and I would stop following this thread if everyone following this thread got their passports back. Please let me know.
