I've just check today and see that my application has been moved to DIP. Not sure when... I haven't checked since last Friday.

He doesn't have to wait, but I think his job offer needs to be back up by recruitment effort (as he's not legally working full time in Ontario atm). After receiving the nomination, he can apply for the close work permit and then start working full time for the employer.

Congrats :) My application still stuck in Assessment, even tho my status changed before you. Clearly, case by case basis, assumed different officers take on different cases.

So, my understanding is that once they need more information, they will send out an email (instead of silently update the OINP account). Also, they will cc us when sending emails to employers. That's reassuring... I just worry that they send something to my employer and the email got lost in...

That's how the website is designed to work. Whenever there a large amount of user access to the site, whoever comes later will be put in a queue. As I remembered, it the same in March, they open the stream in the morning, got some technical issue, close the stream, and then re-open later in the...

From my experience, the Master stream is a tiny bit easier. But for Worker and Student stream, if you were not in queue for the first 5 minutes, you can’t get the slot (even though the stream will open for 30 minutes to an hour).

I submitted it on Oct 28. No email at all, just log in and check every other day. My friend in Master Stream also said that no email notification when the application change status.

My application was moved to Assessment last Saturday, a little surprised that the status changed during the weekend.

Yes, my application is still in the Submitted. And I have a friend who applied for Master Stream open on Sep 30, his application has just moved to Assessment this week... so... it a long journey...
