I just got a response today, same date, Feb 12.

Should be fine. My lawyer had us do 5 photos of just us 2 (incl. wedding), and 15 with friends/family to show that our marriage (since it was recent) was genuine and that our friends and family knew about us.

According to our immigration lawyer, they have to be handwritten not digital. My spouse mailed the forms to me once she signed them.

I called IRCC. If they are coming on an ETA they can still come (as long as the CBSA agent admits them). Since they'd be allowed in the country for up to 90 days on visit (if from a Schengen country), that exceeds the 15 day minimum requirement. At least, that's what IRCC told me. Hopefully...

Application received today! 6 days - seems like Canada Post is speeding up.
