    So to be clear, a letter of support that I have had officially translated in Canada DOES NOT need a certified copy of the original? (My spouse's family wrote letters but the originals are in Brazil)

    I have not seen that posted anywhere on the government website, it makes sense ( I mean it's a letter from family that is easily translated on Google) is that your exprience? Did you translate and submit unofficial proofs for your application and did it get okayed?

    That would not work. The guide clearly states that documents must be translated to english or french by a certified translator and must be accompanied by a certified copy of the original document in french. I think if they simply send it in english I won't need any of that.

    IMM 1344E Did you check Withdraw or Proceed

    I'm using a consultant who was a CBSA employee whose job for 32 years was to review these applications and approve or reject them. My consultant said to click "proceed" because if it gets rejected for a simple mistake you made you want the ability to fix the mistake.
