Good to know I am not the only one sitting waiting on NYVO to move their tails. Waiting on the Biometrics request but got the medical request. So frustrating.

Mine is also at the NYVO with a similar time frame. I am waiting on my biometrics request. SOOOOO frustrating not to move forward in this process. I just learned that it was New York last week.

That doesn't work for me... when you are waiting on requests to do something, any email/message you get could be a request for a document or for you to do something. Waiting a few days means that many days that you couldn't do what they are asking for. I personally don't want to take a risk.

I made this a non-issue by having ALL correspondence go to the same email.

Try changing the number of people on the app to include the sponsor (Sponsor + PA + any children)

I do not think there is an official length of time and if they do, no one knows what it is. Some have said they got rejections over it, others say they got requests for an updated form, while still others have said that IRCC allows for the current form and one older. Some say they have a month...

Have you linked into GCKEY? You should check ECAS and GCKEY for information as well. You can use your receipt number for ECAS and your file number for GCKEY. Also make sure your email has Canada in the contacts so that you always get their emails.
