Hi , i had my FP done back in 2019, background check went to completed March 2022, got FP request 2 weeks ago. to my knowledge BG has one year expiry time and gets re-checked prior to oath ceremony.

Finally got the fingerprint request this morning from IRCC Vancouver!! I’m in Toronto and my application is being processed in Mississauga. Whatever, have completed the request. Let’s see what comes next, 33 months in process and way to go!

Thanks sharing your thoughts, I have done finger prints back in November 2019. It’s almost 10 days which my BG has bounced back to processing and i haven’t received any emails to redo fingerprints. Possibly they might have reached to RCMP directly for a renewal.

thanks for your reply , my appliaction didn't have the DM status. all other 3 categories of Prohibition, language and physical are still in "progressing" status. any thoughts?

Reaching to PM is useless, at least based on my experience. They just echo back what you already see in your tracker. They only provide this followup service to have it on their resume and look good. In my opinion try calling IRCC and catch their heart over the phone. They can put a note on...

I’m one of those, everything is in processing with No progress

Hi everyone, I’ve been trying to reach out to IRCC through this number 1-888-242-2100 but there’s no way to get a hold on a live agent. I tried random hours considering 8 a.m and prior to 4 as well. Still didn’t go through. any suggestions ?

We’re in the same boat. my criminal check was completed in august 2020 , CBSA clearance is still in progress (10 months). Have done multiple Gcms notes , calls to IRCC and submitted webform. No progress!!

Interesting part is that IRCC shows they’re now finalizing 80% of applications received by mid April 2019, if we look at our sep 2019 excel sheet. Almost 55% of applicants have done the test, I doubt if they can catchup by sep 2021.

had my FP submitted in Nov-2019, still awaiting for test invite. Is there anyone with the same experience? GCMS note indicates “test pending on clearance “. App is with CBSA since august 2020.
