You must have some sort of voodoo. We applied 4 months earlier than you (Aug 2 2019) and still have not even received a pre-arrival letter - stuck on "assessing eligibility" and "background check" since December 2019. Simple spousal app, no dependents, no criminal record. Sigh.

Lucky you, you got a pre-arrival letter. We applied August 2 2019, and have not even gotten that yet. Like most Philippine government offices, Manila Embassy processing is slower than it should be, always - not just because of COVID.

Yup. Interview request came March 5, for late March interview. Received phone call Mid-march cancelling. Zero update since then.

And that's why we pay the Canadian government big taxes. So they can play with our lives with complete disregard for our needs.

That's just depressing for me - great for you though. F**king Manila office is run by turtles. Took the Philippine gov't 120 days to simply send me a copy of my marriage certificate. Another 4 months without my wife. But what does the government care? Not at all.

Update, I may have made a mistake in posting here that I didn't receive AOR2 yet; I did receive AOR2 on Nov 12 (if indeed the definition of AOR2 is a letter stating the file has been transferred to MVO).

My transfer happened on Nov 12 I believe. Have not received AOR2 yet. That's over 3 months.
