Hi everyone, we (family of 3, Indian citizens) recently moved to the US for work (on March 14) and we hold CoPRs valid until 25 April. We were planning on doing a soft landing prior to our deadline, but in light of the new travel restrictions we are unsure on how to go about the same. Any advice?

Submitted passports (family of 3) on the 31st of January at VFS Delhi, processing began on Feb 3... still waiting. Counting work days alone, we are on day 15; counting weekends and submission date, we are on day 22.

Uff...can imagine. I need to be in the US on March 16 for an important assignment, and I can't apply for a US visa until the Canadian High Commission releases our passports (which have been under process since Feb 3).

How many applicants?

I emailed the High Commission in New Delhi, and followed up with a call yesterday morning - received the same response - "cannot divulge any details regarding your application"..."if you require your passports urgently, we (the High Commission/IRCC) can do so, but with no guarantee that your...

Has anyone ever tried calling the Canadian High Commission for an update?

Hi everyone! We submitted our passports at the VFS in New Delhi on the 31st of January, and processing at the NDVO began on the 3rd of Feb. Anxiously waiting for a response, as we are soon supposed to travel to the US for work. Crossing fingers that NDVO expedites the process.
