Hi My husband’s application was submitted in march 2020 as well. We finally got passport stamped with visa just last week. In my case the MP certainly helped. Try contacting the officials and keep checking with them, hope this helps.

Hi everyone Just need some advice regarding travel. I sponsored my husband while he was in Sweden on work visa. Can he travel to Canada from any other country after getting his Canadian visa or is it mandatory that he has to enter from Sweden only.

My husband is in Sweden. VAC is still open. I have contacted MP again, no answer yet. Talked to immigration agent yesterday, no help. Submitted web form too.

Is anyone still waiting on passport request? My file submitted on my 11 March 2020, decision made 25 January, complete silence since then.

I contacted my MP and all they told me was everything is done and should hear soon.

Decision made on 25th January, still waiting for ppr.

Did you get it in your email or cic account??

Hi I had same situation, my husband’s biometrics letter expired and when we contacted cic, the agent said due to covid it will automatically be extended. No extension letter is needed. We booked our appointment and biometrics were done. No one questioned anything.

PA got the pre-arrival letter in my case.

Have u linked ur file to online account?? You might see some updates there. Also try calling them again as it seems like processing time is already over.

Supposed to be but I haven’t got any email even though ecas is showing decision made from 25th January.

Hi everyone For people who got their decision made, does anyone get anything from cic that says about the decision they made? In my case Ecas showing decision made from January 25 but got nothing informing what the decision is.
