Received Biometrics letter today after a 5.5 month wait since receiving AOR , but no SA and no medical yet . Is this normal ? Also does anyone know where to get the biometrics done in New Delhi India ? We are getting appointment for end of October but the letter says we need to do it within 30 days

We too got AOR in mid March and nothin after that. It has been 5 months now. I moved heaven and hell back in August -Sept 2020 when everything was in lockdown in order to put in the application as soon as possible. Now I am thinking if I had taken it easy and applied in Nov second half or Dec...

Very likely, because a lot of them would be working from home, so files would have been sent to the their homes. And if they fall sick or go on leave, it might be difficult to reassign the case to someone else. In the same boat as you , No SA, BIO , Medical till now, AOR 19th March

I got in touch with this department. They are saying that they don't issue the Statement in Lieu of Certificate of Non Impediment to Marriage for India as India doesn't have this as a mandatory requirement. Will a statutory declaration be enough for a Marriage Registrar in India ??
