Landed today. Got to the Consulate at about 9:00 AM, wife got her COPR around 10:45. Had lunch, went shopping, filled out forms B4 and B4A, crossed at Queenston bridge around 5:15, went inside and were out of there by 5:35. Good luck to everyone waiting!

PPR AT LAST! :D :D Got word from my friend who works for my MP. Nothing in the mail or from e-cas tho. Woot woot! They requested two recent photos of my wife - are they the same size as what we submitted for her initial application?

Finally some good news!! Wife just got a Request for RPRF so I paid right away online. It says not to mail it to CPC-M if I've paid online, but should I let Mississauga/Buffalo know that it's been paid?

No word back from e-cas on our case however a friend of mine works for my MP and made an inquiry on our behalf. She got a response on July 18th, confirming that my wife's file has been created and "that the file is in the screening stages and is currently awaiting a routine security review."...

Look up the appropriate applications on the CIC website. There's a package for the sponsor and one for the applicant. Each has a checklist. Review both checklists carefully. Review both checklists carefully.

Man our status hasn't budged in over a month. Application received March 24th. Since then, crickets. :/

I was just playing around with Sparkle's spreadsheet and came up with the average wait time, from submission to ppr, of 135 days. Approx 4.4 months. Here's hoping!

I've yet to pay the RPRF. I was going to wait until receiving the AOR to pay it - however the file's status is 'Application Received' on e-cas. Is this something I should pay now to avoid any delays? Our app was received in Buffalo yesterday.

Is anyone here doing a spousal sponsorship via buffalo? How long did it take for the applicant's status to change from 'n/a' to 'in process'?

Got an e-cas notficiation that our status is decision made and that the letter was mailed March 10th. :) It was received by CPC-M on 2/11/11 so they're moving faster than the processing time line suggests :)

I highly doubt that :P. We just sent the sponsorship app in a month ago. I think it's the decision on my eligibility as a sponsor.
