I didn't mean that will speed up your application, what I meant was you will not receive a decision unless they have your medical report and when they have it and verify it, it will get updated on GCkey.
I am talking about SDS as well, that is a pre-covid timeline, its not accurate anymore, they have a massive backlog beginning from atleast April, but if you are lucky you might get your visa soon, they are processing files in no particular order.
That was the timeline before Covid, you should have checked the processing time on the IRCC website before applying, currently its 36 weeks if you apply for a study permit from India. Here is the link for your reference -...
I think it will get updated soon then because a few people who got that email got their medical updated within a week, Please post on this thread if your medical does get updated eventually, it will help us alot.
I raised a web form on 12th December under technical inquiry but did not receive any response. By any chance did either of you guys use the CANTECH code? because that is what IRCC on twitter is advising people to do if their medical is not updated. I submitted my web form without that code.
