Getting PR isn't solely based on obtaining points from these educational qualifications. Doing PGD with 4 years bachelors does boost your CRS by 33 points but still, it depends on the number of factors and the program you have enrolled for to secure a PR.

WES accreditated my degree from VU back in February (within 14 days after receiving the docs). The diploma's Canadian equivalency was considered as 3 years diploma. Apart from the PGD diploma, I had done 4 years Bachelors in IT from COMSATS back in 2007.

I'm an Operational Risk Analyst, and I went with 1114 (other financial officers). Yes, it's a bit difficult to 'justify' the title but for risk personnel from banking/insurance, choosing 1114 is the way to go (in my opinion, of course).
