I think it was a comment in this forum or another Facebook group. I could not find it anymore because it was from last year. From what I can remember, they said that because you are a student, your family back home should be the one to send you money. Not the other way around.
Am I allowed to send money to my family in my home country? Can IRCC monitor my banking transactions? And will this possibly affect me when I apply for PGWP and PR someday? I read something before that this is not allowed but I am not sure if this is true.
After 9 months of waiting, my visa got approved on Dec 1.
My timeline:
Feb. 12 - lodged paper-based application for Fall 2020 intake
March 5 - Medical passed
July - Deferred to Winter 2021 intake
Oct 20 - New LOA request
Nov 5 - BVL
Dec 1 - Visa approval
Received BVL on Nov 5. No updates regarding final decision til now. My school was one of the first to be an approved DLI. I don't know what's taking so long.
I got my BVL on Nov. 5. Any idea how long I’ll have to wait before receiving the final decision? I’ve read some people here got their decision the same day. Seeing that mine is almost 2 weeks, I have a bad feeling that my application will be refused.
It really is frustrating. 9 months of waiting already. And deadline for deferral in my school is Nov. 20, so if I don't get any message from IRCC then I might have to defer again.
Lodged my paperbased application on Feb. 12 (VFS Makati, Philippines).
Medical passed on March 5.
Received BVL on Nov. 5.
My school was one of the first colleges to have their COVID readiness plan approved. Why is the final decision taking so long?
If maka receive na ng correspondence letter, typically how long ang wait time for the visa status (if approved or refused)? And is it true ba na pag di mo pa na receive yun after 24 hours, meaning you're refused?
Yeah, I noticed too na puro SP + OWP yung may approvals. I've been waiting sinc Feb. and it's so stressful na magwait. But hopefully they'll return our passports na this october so we can make plans na.
