    Soft landing from US?

That's interesting. I might be in such a situation later this year. Could you share any official links to confirm this info?

    Soft landing in March 2022

Hi, did you end up doing the soft landing. My COPR expires May 2022 as well and I am still awaiting passport from IRCC. Since this is such short notice, I am planning to do a soft landing in May and come back to the U.S. Please share your experience.

Hello, Question for those who have received CoPR. I received my passport and the date on visa is of October 2020. I am planning to make a soft landing for October 2020. But is there any other step in this process that I am missing? Do I need to inform anyone or set up any interview/appointment...

Great! That gives me some hope. I am still waiting for passport to come back and if I actually have until October 2020 to land then that makes things way more easier for me. Thanks for your reply.

Thanks for responding. Are you sure about this? I thought I read here that people only get about a couple of months in COPR to land. This date is an year out? Still waiting for return tracker to get activated and receive my passport but checking in case you saw this in your approval as well?

Hello, question for those who got their COPR - I just checked myCIC and it says "approved" today. I had sent my passport on Nov 13. I am awaiting return tracker to get activated. In the meantime, I want to check what this refers to: The Document Status table mentions an expiry date: 2020/10/23...

Sorry for delayed response. I don't know when our medicals expire. We did the upfront medical before applying at the end of January. But my CIC profile says - Medicals passed March 6. I sent over my passports. Waiting to get them back with COPR and landing date.

Thank you!! I believe the Visa Office would be Ottawa. That's where they have asked me to send the passports, so I am assuming it is Ottawa. Is there another way to find out/confirm visa office? I never ordered GCMS notes.

Hello! Quick update. I got the "Ready for Visa" email today that says I have 30 days to submit passport etc. 1. Does this mean I am approved for PR? The language is somewhat confusing: "The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete...

Hello, I did not get PPR yet but trying to plan this out a little bit and have some questions regarding landing in Canada for PR. Anyone who is currently based in US/elsewhere be willing to talk through direct messaging with me? Specifically, want to ask about making an initial landing if/when I...

Thanks Tanu912. Is there a major difference between Procedural Fairness Letter and ADR/RR? I'll be able to show more funds and will submit all documents soon. I would still need to submit the letter highlighting outstanding student loan. Not sure what could be a logical explanation here that...

Thank you for the response. I agree, the better thing to do now would be to get my passport renewed. I'll respond to their PoF request in the meantime and then send over new passport info when I have it. I did actually get upfront medical but myCIC says Medical Passed on March 6. AOR: Jan 24. Is...

Thanks again for all the info. I think the next best step would be to renew my passport then. Thanks again.

Thanks for your reply. A few more follow up questions pls: 1. Assuming the medical expires in 12 months (i.e. March 2020) and my passport expires in April 2020, if approved, would I still be able to travel on current passport. Asking as this would not have a lot of validity left if I travel in...

Hello, This is my first time here and so looking for some help/guidance. Apologies since I don't know all the acronyms. I got my AOR on January 24 (had submitted my APR on the same day). I am based in the US on work visa in case that is relevant. I still haven't received any approval or denial...
