Hi all, I'm applying for a new SIN in the same change of status as well and I'm just wondering why it asks for "Applicant's Parent" info? Did you all just put one parent down in the required slots and leave the other blank?
So I'm in a similar situation, shipping my stuff with ABF U Pack, however I'm an inland applicant and won't be crossing the border at all. Since I won't be with my belongings when they cross I'm confused as to how the BSF186 form gets handled...
Does anyone know how landing interviews are going these days? From what I've seen it seems like they aren't in person anymore (which would be awesome).
I just copied all the existing info to one spreadsheet, not sure of the validity of what's there obviously - it is a lot of people from Montreal. I took the dates given in their notes about CSQ and just transferred it over which is why so many are missing.
I've actually already added the CSQ section, just with fewer columns.
I figured it would be more useful to copy all the Quebec applicants to a separate tab since our timeline is different from the rest of Canada. This way we can see it all in one place instead of jumping from month to month...
Hello friends, I've added a QC inland tab to the google doc! I'll try to update it occasionally but everyone feel free to jump in and keep it up to date. I'm going to add a CSQ section as well so please feel free to populate that with your info.
Also, each month has a slightly different format...
I'm in the exact same situation as you, I'm only working part time for now so haven't been able to apply for RAMQ yet and ended up purchasing private insurance for now.
Travel question for you guys - I'm from the US so visa-exempt. I received my OWP in November. Do I still need to leave and re-enter Canada every 6 months? If I'm here for over 6 months consecutively, leave, and re-enter, will I get in trouble for having stayed longer than 6 months?
Tried to ask...
Are we covered by the CNESST when working on an OWP? I haven't yet received CSQ if that changes anything...I have private insurance but I doubt that would cover an injury acquired at work?
My employer is not sure if the CNESST covers me but I work in a bit of a higher risk occupation for injury...
Happy to help :D I'll get it updated asap then! I leave next week so I'm not sure I'll get through the process before. Wish I thought of it sooner! I love using Nexus to go through.
Travel question..I'm a US citizen and have a 7 day trip back to the States coming up this month (I just received my OWP as far as the PR process goes). I enrolled in the Nexus program several years ago to make life easier when visiting my husband here. When coming into Canada I always use my...
As far as the OWP goes I got mine right on schedule with others who don't live in Quebec...at least on the spreadsheet I don't see anyone from September has gotten an OWP approval yet so I wouldn't worry about that! Since the OWP is handled separately for the most part, IRCC told me that being...
