Hi, Not to sound discouraging but I applied my PR card renewal in Dec 2023. There is no update on it as yet. No emails. I am not able to link it on IRCC website. Status still shows as "Submitted" on the PR portal.

I have my US visa appointment soon and need the PR card. Not sure how that will turn out as the wait time for US visas is 2 years and I cant afford to reschedule it as that would put me in 2026.

I don't think that's necessarily the case as my PR card expired on March 25th, 2024. I submitted my PR renewal application on Dec 24, 2023 and still shows submitted.
