I think it took a bit longer because my file was in background checks for a longer period of time and then they asked for a U.K Police Certificate which was kind of irrelevant as i left london at the age of 12-13 years.

People who are facing problems with re-med dates should request on the spot and tell them that you have received your re-med doc late and you need to send it as soon as possible. They consider that and always give you an earlier date. I tried the same trick and it worked :) . I think you guys...

Wes & Maximus Brothers, I am the same AOR as you guys ( April 2010 ). I received my re-med and pcc and supply forms request in early march 2011 so i guess we all are in the same boat. I hope we all get our passport requests soon. Tc. :)
