just use the name that u already hve in passport, in ur PR , etc etc, so it's gonna be easier for u...

even if u dnt change ur status it's okay, u can still sponsor ur husband.. I came from philippines too and my husband is just waiting for visa, I started his application last Dec. 27 2008... and probably 1 week from now he gonna get his visa...

Guys I just gonna ask you something. My husband received a letter from canadian embassy requesting for passport but his last name is misspelled in the letter, and I check the E-CAS, his name is misspelled there too... He sent back his passport with a letter on it telling them that his last name...
