Got Passport back Thursday (Australia day No less woohoo) Landed at Peace Arch friday (27th) saturday will be my first day working without having a work permit so happy the wait is finally over.... good luck to all still waiting ( I waited 2 years from start to finish) it will happen...

I did my Landing today at Peace Arch....(BC border) I got there and decided to spend afternoon in Blaine.. got a bottle of Irish Cream and a bottle of Gin (they never asked me if I bought alcohol into Canada when I came back) and a few groceries... got back to border did the landing in less...

Woohoo got my passport back today (on Australia day as well) time to celebrate both events... driving to border tomorrow to land!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can now track my passport. arrived at Fort Erie at 1pm today.... should get friday (hopefully)

Ecas just updated to Decision Made!!!!!!!!! so guess that means passport now has the visa and they sending back this week (hopefully)

I know but the old roommate was a bitch by not passing on my mail which included the medical request back in June... I was planning on going to the border but can you do it at a visa office in Vancouver??? save some money!!!!!!! Already looking at getting a better job cant wait...

Just got my Passport request.. medical was done in December and they received (i believe) around 20th so they are moving quickly now.. ;D ;D I am so excited

Do not do it until you receive the request it has papers the doctor needs to sign.....

Well just found out my Medical request was sent in June to my old address even though I had tried at least 20 times to update it since april (they finally acknowledge my email requesting the change last month aaahhhh) My old room mate never return any of my calls or text asking for mail. so it...

No got a email saying they need another 30 days to get all information!! :( :(

Has anyone had their e-Cas go to "In Process" before receiving Medical request????? Mine has but have noticed that all timelines seem to have had med req months before e-cas says in process????????

Woohoo... finally after 13 months my status was updated on E-CAS now it read application received Nov 1st 2010 and we started processing Nov 2nd 2011. Hopefully now things will start moving quicker....fingers cross med request is coming. :)

That may be but half the time they dont reply!! I sent a few to them to try and update address and to find information never got a answer until now.. By the way.. I am in my 12th month and still no Medical request has anyone else waited this long or longer??????
