Does anyone know if Canadian RTD needs to be valid for at least six months to travel to the US or not? I’m asking because I know Canadian passports are exempted from the six months rule so I wonder if the same applies to Canadian RTDs. P.S. I have a valid US visa. Thanks for your help in advance.

April 2019! Citizenship test status changed to completed on July 19, 2021 and travel document copies sent early September 2021. No updates since.

Did you receive the interview invite via email? I got this ghost update on February 8 but I don’t have any changes in my status or even an interview invite.

Congratulation on getting an interview date. I have very similar timeline to yours and still waiting for DM. Did you do anything to get the interview or just waited? And did you get the interview invite via email?

Almost the same timeline here! April 2019 applicant and I sent my PP copies on Sept. 8th. No updates since :( there’s no indication of how longer it would take. We gotta wait and see I guess.

I own a property and have been waiting since April 2019. I don’t think it’s a factor but who knows! At this point, I won’t be shocked at anything.

Similar situation here with Scarborough office. Test completed in July and PP copies sent in September. No updates since :( all in progress still except for Test and BG Check, which are marked as completed.

I replied to the email where they asked for the PP copies after I mailed the copies. They confirmed receiving the mail.

Maybe that’s a new thing or it’s based on the office. In my case, I had mine updated 2 days after the test (given I did my test on a Saturday so after the weekend I got my update on the Monday) and it was at the first few days of my test period. Scarborough office here.
