Hi, You can try to re-apply and explain better why you want to study in Canada. But I would rather advise you to request for ATIP to ascertain the real reasom for your denial. It takes about 30days to get a feedback. After the reply, you can re-apply addressing all the concerns.

I believe they might because they pretty much know when the schools are resuming. But another question: What if the school refuses to extend and transfers you to the next intake? What would you be doing till then?

Just write to the school and explain your predicament. I kept the school abreast with every study permit move I was making. That was what helped in my case. You should have been communicating with them when you realised there would be a delay. Call them too to explain.

I think they will reply you soon. I applied on the 22nd of July and got feefback on the 11th of September. Mine was processed in Nairobi.

Classes began on the 4th of December. They gave extension till the 17th. By the 17th, I would have missed about 2 to 3 classes. Unfortunately, by the time my passport would return back to me (End of September); I would have missed even more classes.
