IRCC doesn't ask for any more financial proof but to be on a safer side one can attach load sanction papers , ITR of oneself and/or the sponsor's and/or bank statements and salary slips again of whoever is sponsoring your education.

I think you should go and talk to the manager once or your account representative as a number of students have picked up student loans for diploma in Canada. You could mention your fee plus the 10000 Canadian dollars under living expenditure. It should work out as long as your case is genuine...

Ah okay , so yes you can apply for GIC through loan no need to pay from your pocket. Your bank should approve the extra amount required for GIC as well as it's meant for your living expenditure. But because it's a diploma I can't really say it for sure. Sorry

I didn't get your question, but what I'm assuming is that you can apply for GIC at any of the banks written on CIC website and when they ask you to transfer the money you could go to your parent bank that is SBI in your case with the instruction letter that the GIC providing bank shall send you...

I'm not saying this for SBI particularly because but I used another bank but yes ,banks do transfer the money for GIC and fees because it's a prerequisite for the visa application.

Just select others I had a similar case but that's not an issue .

No it is advisable to pay GIC it doubles up your chances. And if you are worried what would happen if your visa gets rejected , the banks mention that in such a case they shall refund all of your money.

Hello I applied for SDS visa on 7th June , gave my biometrics on the 11th June. My biometric number has been updated , I wanted to ask do they send any confirmation letter on receiving the biometrics from designated vfs and if so how much time can it take ?
