I think I figured out why it wasn't working. It said to put in applicants information so I was putting in my husbands name and place of birth ect. But I think I was supposed to be putting in my own information *Facepalm* I'm just used to being referred too as the sponsor in all this government...

Yeah there is an expiry date that comes with the work permit so he will gain status with that and you don't have to worry about visitor status anymore. No worries! I know how stressful it is! No baby on the way for us but we are looking forward to just getting our lives going and he's going stir...

Don't worry! You can apply for an extension of his visitor status. This is my husband and I's plan if he doesn't get his OWP on time. There's no guarantee of being accepted but if you have all the paperwork you should be ok. Just make sure you fill out everything a month prior to his departure...

My husband and I sent in his PR accplication on the 7th of October and according to the tracking number it got there less then a week later. Anyone know the wait time on when we will get a file number We worked so hard on that application and I worry so much! The stress is real lol
