Mine didn't show approve online. But received a call to confirm with my mailing address, and told me they will send my passport back to me today. To make sure, I also called CIC and they said there is note saying passport send back today. However, the tracking number has not been activated.

The visa only valid for one year.

passport received Jun 18 Called CIC being told visa and CoPR has been printed and waiting for return, but online still showing decision made. o_O

The officer might leave a note on your file, saying something like they will take look at your case at a certain date again.

You could also check with CBSA. I saw somebody got "pre-screening" created by CBSA which is the step before security screening

Approximately 14 days after you landed. You can link your PR card application to your CIC account

Did you apply for a GCMS note to take a look? If you did and you found out there is a lot of missing activities, maybe you are being security screening(heard from others).

You gave IRCC a Fedex pre-paid return envelope cuz your mailing address is in US???? I thought in the "ready for visa" said, they only accept Xpresspost from Canada post if your mailing address is in Canada.

Good afternoon, Today called IRCC, they told me the eligibility, medical and criminality passed, security not started. Four days after will turn out to be 18 months. Anyone has an idea how long the security check be? And what is the next step after pass security? Thank you
