    CELPIP Results and Re-evalutation

As Cifi mentions, CELPIP is ridiculously hard on the writing piece. I'm a native English speaker and I got 12/12/11/8 with the 8 in writing, had to redo the test and with weeks of prep I still only got up to a 9 on my writing. Try using the below link to prepare, he is pretty clear and simple...

    CELPIP HELP.

I ended up getting 12/12/11/9 - the 9 bumped my score up to 479 from 447. Was worthwhile for me.

    CELPIP HELP.

Hey mate, I'm an English native from the UK and I got all 12's apart from an 8 in Writing, so I have just retaken the CELPIP exam. I found this guy on youtube to be really useful in explaining how to actually answer and structure your responses...

Ray of Hope - 118th Draw

I don't think I can do that... see the bottom line: Your experience must be at least: One year of full-time work 30 hours/week for 12 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours), or equal amount in part-time hours, such as: 15 hours/week for 24 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours) 30...

Ray of Hope - 118th Draw

I debated it, but I have to fly to Vancouver to do the test as I'm in Whitehorse and CELPIP has more dates available. Unfortunately they win and take more of my money.

Ray of Hope - 118th Draw

I don't quite get what you mean? I worked a permanent full time job, 37.5 hours a week.

Yeah I looked into that as I already have 12 months of Canadian experience but I wouldn't reach 2 years until September this year which will be a month after my visa ends.

CELPIP re-eval after 6 weeks - any success?

It has been over 6 weeks since I took my CELPIP exams, and in retrospect need one of my marks to go up ( a level 8 on writing). Has anyone every tried to re-evaluate after the 6 week cut off? I know they're pretty adamant that it cannot be done, however surely there is a way? Cheers.

Ray of Hope - 118th Draw

Unfortunately I didn't realize the impact that not getting a 9 would have on my application. SO, the 6 week period for re-evaluations has passed, and I have called numerous times to ask if there is anything that can be done, but I just get fed scripted responses.

CELPIP through Paragon Testing Enterprise Inc. STAY AWAY

I concur... I scored 12/12/11/8 with the 8 in the writing section. Considering I am English I was pretty shocked and was not aware you could apply for re-evaluation of marks. I have since missed the 6 weeks cut off point and cannot get a straight answer out of their customer service team or any...

Ray of Hope - 118th Draw

this is what I worry. I am already in Canada with my work permit ending in August. I'm going to have to redo my CELPIP to get a level 9 on the writing. I got 12/12/11/8 and I'm British... ridiculous lol
