Application is stuck in Delhi, India over 1.5 years, and total time lapsed is over 2 years. Any possible solution ?? :(

Hi..My Application reached Delhi 2 months ago and Delhi office had asked for additional marriage documents.I have sent the docs and its been more than two weeks, but I didn't receive any response from them. Do they usually respond? My worry is whether the documents are delivered or not!!
