    **INLAND SPOUSE SPONSORSHIP JANUARY 2019**

Good Morning, I had my landing interview yesterday in Edmonton and it was pretty straight forward. We arrived at 12:20, my interview was scheduled for 1 PM. As we arrived over the lunch hour, the office was closed and there was a line. Once the door opened we were each given a queue number...

    **INLAND SPOUSE SPONSORSHIP JANUARY 2019**

Hey Kristoph, I got the same letter a few days ago. It is just a letter and not the open work permit. You will have to wait for it to come in the mail to register for your SIN number and health card. We have not received the work permit in the mail yet, but we have had work permits in the...

Nope, everything on GCkey has remained the same all day. Hence why, when we received the email about the landing interview I was like "Something is wrong! lets call".

Hey Kristoph, On the GCKey my OWP application says "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we begin reviewing your eligibility". Yet when I called they told me that my OWP was approved today.

Open Work Permit App Returned due to Insufficient Payment

So I think there is something wrong with the GCKey... because we have just received an email with our landing letter with an interview scheduled for Thursday July 4th and we have not received AIP, Decision made on ECAS for PR or any movement on the OWP.... Just called CIC and our OWP is...

So apparently the OWP is approved even though it is not reflected in the GCKey. If you resubmitted and you are a March 27 applicant I would recommend calling CIC.

Not complaining, just letting everyone...

Good Morning, Still no updates on the OWP or GCKey. But on Ecas this morning the Sponsorship Application Status is "Decision Made" with no additional information when you click for more information. Permanent Residence Application Status still states "In Process" when I click it there is a new...

Just received a ghost update on my PR application today and now it says "reviewing eligibility". No news yet on OWP, hoping to hear something this afternoon.

Congrats on AIP! and thank you for sharing your OWP status!! I am a January 24 applicant and we had to resend the OWP received on March 27th so as you can imagine we are sitting on the edge of our seats for either AIP or OWP!!

    **INLAND SPOUSE SPONSORSHIP JANUARY 2019**

Hey kristoph29, I am hopeful that they are still processing OWPs at the 3 month mark, though I haven't seen anything in the last two weeks to support that. Ivylebrun mentioned that their OWP was received March 19, but in an earlier post they said they received it from CIC on March 19 and resent...

    **INLAND SPOUSE SPONSORSHIP JANUARY 2019**

Hey Ivylebrun, Typically January applicants have been receiving their landing interview invitation 3-4 days after Decision Made with interviews scheduled typically 2 weeks later (depending on location). At the interview they will give you a temporary PR letter and your card will come in the...

Thanks Pooriak, Did he advise which applications they were currently processing? Based on the Spousal/Common Law Tracker: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Gm315tmNKWoywb7PwZBiE67fUmznYQrNhYVWXPXXJBw/edit?usp=sharing 2019 there are not many January applicants who had their...

    **INLAND SPOUSE SPONSORSHIP JANUARY 2019**

Are there any January applicants who have had their OWP returned to them in the beginning or middle of March due to insufficient fees, who have gained approval this week or last? If so what was your timeline? We re-submitted at the end of March, so it would be interesting to see if CIC is still...

    **INLAND SPOUSE SPONSORSHIP JANUARY 2019**

Thank you for sharing kristoph29. Based on the December applicants who have been approved for the OWP after resubmitting in February and what you have noted above "officers are working with Feb app currently" it looks like they are approving 3 months after re-submission rather then 4 months...
