a lot of the times (though not all), when your e-cas changes to "meds have been recieved", it means the application is just about ready to be finalized. after your e-cas changes, it typically takes a week or two to get the passport request.

you should apply NOW. its ok that the 4 yrs will be completed at october. you can always send supporting documents afterwards. the process takes long enough.

finally got PPR, 8/3/2006. applied in Nov. 2004 (Buffalo - SW), IA Feb. 2006, MED Feb. 2006.

My eCAS changed to "medical results have been recieved" many months after i did the medical exam. is this typically a good sign? are there other eCAS changes after this?

well i was speaking hypothetically. i applied in '04 and did medicals and waiting for my PPR for over 6 months now but i know my file is being evaluated by the dumbest official ever so i'm just worried about the worst case scenario.

if someone is notified that an interview is required and that their file is placed in interview queue, is it possible to send supporting documents in the meantime and possibly get the interview waived??
