Yes, that is correct. First Cairo, then Bogota, then Mexico. We had to contact my MP to try to figure out where on earth the file was. So far, it has taken about 1.5 months after they started to ask for additional information until the passport request. I really hope we already get to spend...

We are seeing "Decision made" in Ecas but nothing yet in either Ecas details or the more MyCIC.

When did VO ask for interview for you? I'm September 6 2018 applicant and I'm wondering will they out of no where ask my wife and I for interview on the 11th month or 12th month. Or do they usually do this earlier than that? We applied Dec. 2018. No news after medical done in March, then...

On her invitation letter, it said that the sponsor should be available on the phone at the same time, or, if also in the same location, should accompany the PA.

My wife and I had our interview last Friday. From my perception, it helped very much that I went with her. The officer asked both of us questions right away.

Got confirmation yesterday that the file has been "in transit" for the last 1.5 months. So no one has looked at it for that time, basically.

On April 11th, our file was transferred from Cairo VO to Bogota VO. Then, on April 14th, from Bogota VO to Mexico City VO. And now, on May 24th, surprise surprise, the Bogota VO let us know that the file is still in Cairo VO.

Our file is being thrown around from one VO to another for over a month. Not sure which option is worse, really.
