one of my friends called the call center for status. Processing montreal office. Agent gave the fax number of Montreal office and asked to check directly with montreal office. Did it happen to any of you ? I thought agents are not allowed to provide info of Local offices?

Sorry, if I am raising a moot point . Is this “on hold” show as status on your online account. And did it occur after 6 months or before ?

Federal AOR 25 August. Medical cleared September 25th. Background haven't started. Inland, present address Quebec. I called them and they say my file was transferred from Ottawa to Montreal office. Is there a Montreal processing office ? Also is this a good sign or bad?
