For vistara i checked that they would allow the Int'l baggage allowance only if the int'l carrier is within their network/group. I suppose AI is not. So you will have to pay for excess baggage.

I too confirmed from the AI customer care that people boarding a domestic flight (only AI & not indigo /vistara/spicejet) having an onward international flight (AI only) will be allowed Intl baggage allowance even at domestic airport if they show their int'l confirmed itinerary. Very important...
