I paid extra for tracking - special certified international mail. I wouldn't be worried if the post office hadn't specifically said, "We might have lost it. No idea where it is. The only way you can know if they received it is to ask them directly."

I do think luck has a lot to do with it it as well. But from what I’ve read on the Paris VO forums, there do seem to be some factors that make it take longer generally (I.e. multiple divorces, living in multiple countries, coming from certain countries, etc.)
