Your RPRF theory is purely hypothetical. I paid upfront on 8th Feb, simple travel history (U.K & USA) and i am the lone applicant and possess all the markings of seamless application and I still haven’t received my PPR.

It certainly is good news and definitely better than RR. The case analyst has reviewed your application and is of the opinion that you meet the eligibility requirement. All that’s left is for the visa officer to carry out a final review then “recommend pass” changes to “pass”.

The only way to know for sure if this error is material or otherwise Is via GCMS notes which takes a while to receive. In the interim I advise you raise CSE and tell them you realise your error and apologise for it.

I don’t think this should be an issue. However if you are uneasy and want to put your mind at ease you could depose to a “one and same person affidavit” stating that both variations of the name refer to you, accompanied with a LOE and raise CSE. All the best.

Found out my VO was Ottawa on Wednesday and i was delighted. However, after going through this thread my excitement has for the most part vanished. Anyhoo, my application would be 4 months post-AOR tomorrow. I am still hoping for an expeditious application. Good luck everyone
