Didnt have a UCI and submitted by mail so couldnt even link it...just got into the app now and it said they sent an email dev 31st (bs) and then on jan 3rd (which was the med request...so apparently if you dont get your medical results within 5 days they send u a final request??

Hey - at least you got your AOR...first contact we got was a final request for medical exam!

What did your AOR look like? Just curious because we didnt get it yet...

Application was recieved by Mississauga on 1st Oct. First correspondence was for a FINAL request for the medical...anyone else have initial contact seemingly lost? Have checked spam regularly while waiting

Thanks btw - just a bit frustrated by the apparent lack of organisation...though for a government office i shouldnt be surprised

Assuming we should have recieved AOR first! Have booked the medical already & speaking with an immigration lawyer to cover ourselves...immigrating to australia was a walk in the park compared to this. Oy vey

Have been checking spam - doesnt make sense that this one came through straight to inbox. And this is the first email we recieved. Also, attempting to link the app to online acc results in the response "no application was found" or to that effect.

Sponsoring my wife and applied 1st of October from Australia. Made sure to get signature on delivery so we knew they got it. Put email addresses as contact details. Hadnt heard a thing until a few days ago when my wife got her FIRST email...not to tell us they recieved the app or had begun...
