Congrats! that's great news! hope we get our PPR soon too. I was under the impression that the background/security check takes longer for guys but hopefully that's not the case.

My husband's application was also transferred to Ankara end of March but we haven't heard anything yet. He's done both his medical and biometrics. Hope we hear something soon from them

If you have previously dealt with immigration you would have a UCI number which stands for Unique Client ID. I personally didn't have it because I moved to Canada as a dependent in my parents' application, if you immigrated independently you may have one. you should find it in your previous...

Yea me too. I saw DM on ECAS on Saturday but haven't received the email yet, biometric letter received but no medical yet. It's funny how they change their routine with every batch... people with applications received first 2 weeks of January all had medical requests and no biometrics and now...

We had similar situation, now that my husband received the biometrics letter, it changed from “we don’t need finger prints” to “ we need your finger prints” but before that bg check was the only item in progress

Well based on your analysis they haven't done anything between January 25th to March 6th then! I called last week and they were still processing up to October 9th!! I wonder how many weeks of vacations they get!:rolleyes:

I think you're right the UCI numbers are different. My husband had his UCI number from when he applied for visitor visa and I received the AOR email today which has a different UCI number in it..when we linked the application it shows his original UCI number from before..

at least yours says they've received it, it's a semi-AOR lol.. the system doesn't even find ours which was received Jan 24th.. I see someone got AOR today and their application was received Jan 23rd so hopefully tomorrow or Friday.

Yea that was the basis we decided to send photocopies of signature, but you know how it is we all tend to think the worst before getting AOR. ;)

I actually called CIC last week and was wondering if my application would be returned because the signatures were not original and they were scanned. The office said that it won't be returned because of that reason, I asked if I can send in the original forms since I have them now but she said...

Same timeline, hopefully this week so the nightmares of having the package returned back to me would stop
