    I submitted my passport on 20th August. Got it stamped today on August 27. Its a smooth process. Once you get PPR, raise a webform in vfs, make the two way courier payment. They will pickup, stamp and send the passport back to you. I got my stamping done within a week.

    They will not ask for biometrics for sure. If you are present in Canada/ applying for visa from Canada, as per the public policy you are exempt from giving biometrics. Be rest assured they will just process the application normally.
