How many months is CSIS security background checking backlogged at this point?

Background check
May 2018, took test Dec 2018. After test, I was told that CSIS hasn't return my file yet, so I should go home and wait.- poppy9999

Background check
CSIS background check takes anywhere from a few months to years. So be prepared. I am from asia, I moved to canada when i was 18, which was more than 10 years ago. I am still waiting for my background check to finish. You could request ATIP from CSIS.- poppy9999
