You must have received it directly from IRCC Ottawa. The passport of US residents need to be sent to Ottawa; VFS does this for you.

Sorry for the really late reply, didn't check the notifications. I am not sure about the procedure for countries which need ETA, so I cannot comment on that. I dropped and pick up my passport directly from VFS. I didn't have to provide a return envelop. I sent the Request for Visa/Confirmation...

Got back the passport today! Took 5 days to send and receive it from NYC VFS.

Got my PPR in the morning today! Finally!

My application was approved on Dec 3rd and I still haven't received PPR. Wonder when I will receive it.

Yeah, file is approved. Atleast that's what the agent told me when I called IRCC back in December.

I sent an email to New Delhi VO last week, but that did not generate any PPR. Guess they stopped responding to such requests.

Assuming that the individual gets paid in the US (let's say a US bank account), how does one use that money in Canada? Isn't that person losing a lot of money in exchange rates? Is there some other arrangement?
