WES rule changes for India: DEC'2018-Word of caution

Woah.. they send it themselves? That's a first. The likelihood of Universities having a post office within their campus is a rare thing in the first place. My university (Pondicherry University) also has a post office in it but the university doesn't send it - we have to do it ourselves.

WES rule changes for India: DEC'2018-Word of caution

Since you've already sent it, I guess there's nothing to do about it. On the Registrar's seal, you'll have to approach your Registrar or Assistant Registrar. No, I didn't visit the Mumbai University as my college is affiliated to Pondicherry University. I sent my envelope through DHL from...

WES rule changes for India: DEC'2018-Word of caution

There are several posts here in this forum detailing what you should do. The university won't be sending the documents themselves. Get your transcripts in an envelope, seal them with paste and get the proper seals on the flaps. Then get your Registrar to affix his seal on the front and paste...

WES rule changes for India: DEC'2018-Word of caution

After quite a wait, my documents were accepted! :) So what I learnt is, don't enclose your envelope in another one (which the courier does by default unless asked to). It's good to have the Registrar's seal with the college address on the front of the envelope as well.

WES rule changes for India: DEC'2018-Word of caution

The same happened with me. My University ran out of envelopes this time. So I had to buy my own cover on which they stamped and signed. I spoke with the registrar and he stamped on the front side of the envelope as well. Now all that remains is to send them to WES without putting them in another...

WES rule changes for India: DEC'2018-Word of caution

Woah.. That's quite something. First of all, check if your college has autonomous status by checking here --> https://www.ugc.ac.in/oldpdf/colleges/autonomous_colleges-list.pdf If it is, then don't worry you can keep the Sender as your college address itself. If not, I'd advise you contact the...

WES rule changes for India: DEC'2018-Word of caution

That's strange. I don't see any reason why they won't provide a college envelope to send your transcripts. Can you try telling them that you spoke with the customer care from WES and that they informed that they prefer the College Envelope. Also, WES needs the envelope to be sealed (not with...

WES rule changes for India: DEC'2018-Word of caution

What was the Sender mentioned as? There's a good likelihood that the person sending it used their name in it.

WES rule changes for India: DEC'2018-Word of caution

I got to speak with WES customer care and I got a promising answer. Basically, whatever envelope or cover WES receives should be signed and sealed with the sender as the Registrar from the University. When you send via FedEx or DHL or any other shipping partner, they would put your envelope in...

WES rule changes for India: DEC'2018-Word of caution

No.. not on hold. But the statement of marks is marked as "Not Accepted" whilst the the overall status is changed to "Waiting for Documents" Yeah, they mentioned the usual stuff - to ask the University to send the transcripts.

WES rule changes for India: DEC'2018-Word of caution

I included only the Address of the University - I didn't include the name "Registrar". And no, I didn't FedEx it from the same town. A third party who does bulk shipping offered to ship at a good discount compared to going to FedEx directly. I trust him since I have sent documents for my...

WES rule changes for India: DEC'2018-Word of caution

After going through the several replies here and on another thread, I had sent my transcript of my statement of marks to WES via FedEx (Dec 2018) with the sender as my University address. However, after a month and a half evaluating it, I got the update from WES that they find the transcripts...

WES - Statement of marks Not Accepted

I'm in the same boat as well. I received the same reason for rejecting the Statement of marks. I wonder what actually constitutes as being "sent directly from the Institution".
