The first one was for my VO. Which they said was Ottawa. The other was in late November while my application was IP2 and they just said that background check is currently being reviewed. Nothing in detail.

That's the thing about ghost updates. You don't know what the update is. The only thing I know for sure is that, there was some update made by the agent. CIC does not show what it is. Only GCMS notes provide that info.

Just saw a ghost update in my account. At best, it will lead to a PPR soon. At worst, there's some movement on the case file. Fingers crossed!
