My consultant agent told me it's now days normal from NDVO . They asking for phone or physical interviews for family sponsored visas. If you don't have one than u are lucky one. Its depending on immigration officer how he s seeing your file. Basically they want to check If its genuine relationship.

Hello Friends I have applied for spousal PR for my wife (presently in India) time line application received 10th August 2018 at CIC Canada office. Sponsor eligibility passed Sep 2018 Medical passed 5th Nov 2018. File transfer to NDVO in Jan 2019. Start prcsing file in ND 24 January 2019...

May be they will make it fast. it depends on officer how he will see your file and circumstances. Hope for the best. May be you will be Lucky if they would ask you submit ur pp get stamped and land in Canada before your medical expired all the best

I read a case where the applicant had to go through the medical exam again as they asked her to submit her pp after medical exam was expired. But it's not not more then two weeks process even if you have go through medical again

Better to have your medical again on same file number and submit it again on your GCkeys folder. Or consult with any immigration expert.

I applied for my spouse application in August 10 2018 .. now in January they transferred file to delhi visa office..there is no news after.

Where did file your application? Inland outside of Canada? Because depending on country to country processing time normally after interviews it will take 4- 6 weeks to get the unswere back from immigration officer. After they makes any decision.. you will get first DM . I think so.. all the best

What my experience is when I was landed at Pearson airport Toronto in 2012 they CBSA would ask about your belongings anf address in Toronto or something which you have already mentioned in your application and you will have your right of landing papers there's no visa validation at this point...
