Hi @Samoinp, My status in the States gets expired before I move and I will in grace period. with expired legal status in the Status I will not be allowed to renew my DL. thanks on the info about DL abstract from DMV. I have already applied for that.- Niresh

Hello @Samoinp, Thanks for sharing. in my case even my drivers license expires by the time I am planning to move. so I doubt If I can rent a car with a expired license.- Niresh

Dear @lampbreaker, Thanks for the quick response, but I prefer to cross the bridge by foot. I personally felt that will more convenient and hassle free for me just by avoiding the tension on receiving the card in mail or returning the rental in Canada.
