Hi Guys June 14 2017 DM Jan 4，called CIC today, the agent said passed everything waiting officer to send out PPR. The agent sent a note to officer about passing 19 month. I guess I need to wait another weeks

Based on my experience, the ghost update means background check is done and then will be officer's final confirm. It used to be couple days to receive PPR after ghost update/DM. But now it varies. I think in total 15-19 months is quite the normal timeline. Some of my lucky friends got PPR...

I think there is no constraints for traveling. If u receive ppr during vacation u can ask them for delay.

Yeah I did twice. 1st time said everything is fine, pass background check and just need to wait. And one month later I called again the same answer but the agent threaten me stop calling otherwise wait until 19 months finished.... so I haven't called them for a month now. I guess my case is not...

I called CIC three weeks ago, said everything is done and waiting for final review. And I called today again, the same answer and said still in 19 months...my god...

This is so frustrating! June 14 application, ghost update on 25 Sep, one month frequent email & CIC checks drive people crazy...
