Found my last tax return. It shows him listed as my spouse, but no other information because we weren't living together for most of that tax year. He had only been here on visitor status for a short time at time of filing so no SIN or income to report.

I do have a letter from IRCC, good idea! I could get receipts from Uber/Amazon for each of seperately, with the same address, but none with BOTH names in one receipt. That's still ok right? I also got a letter from the personnel manager at my work confirming that I listed my husband as spouse...

Thank you for the reply! My husband just got his work permit two weeks ago, and is still waiting for his SIN to arrive so he's not working yet. I am working though. And he's been living with me the entire time, no trips or gaps.

So we finally linked out OWP after talking to someone from IRCC. Our mistake was in the "given name" portion of the linking. We assumed that just meant his first name, but apparently it actually means first AND middle name ‍♀️ but it worked, and it says the application is in process. Hopefully...

So we still haven't been able to link our OWP, and have not been able get a hold of anyone by phone. Does anyone have a number they've been successful with talking to someone about an OWP link into problem?

The whole OWP process is seemingly very complicated lol. What if we're not able to link it but they require more information or something? Would they send us something in the mail?

The PR application is "in process" and is currently at 25% completion! The OWP app was sent back to us because we accidently missed one of the fees. We paid it and sent it back, was recieved on January 24th. We haven't been able to to link it yet though.

What does ghost update me?

We have the same timeline as you! We did receive our AOR though. Ours also says 24%, but it says in process.

Oops posted too soon lol. We sent it back with the correct payment and it was recieved on January 24th. We've tried linking every way possible but nothing yet. I know it can take some time, but we're starting to get antsy now lol

We sent our OWP back with the correct fees this time. It was recieved on the 24th according to the currier. Still haven't been able to link it yet though. Hopefully soon!

Correction...we did not realize we had to pay the $155 fee as well. Not sure how we missed that the first time!

They sent back our work permit application today because of "insufficient processing fees were provided with your application". Not really sure what that means. We paid the $100 work permit fee and submitted the proof of payment.

We tried linking OWP using ICU and surname then tried once with passport and once with birthplace. Neither worked for us.
